Defense readies case on intelligent design

These people should have watched The West Wing last night, as Jimmy Smits' character summed the whole debate up pretty well. Which kind of makes me sad, since the fictional President, and both fictional candidates for President are vastly superior to what we have in reality. Hell, at this point, I'd rather have Martin Sheen, Alan Alda, or Jimmy Smits over Bush, nevermind their characters.

I would rather have my television set (even switched off) as President over Bush. At least it could do less harm.

Good point. Actually there are any number of household appliances that I would rather have in office over Bush.

I love the idea of my crock pot as President. Heck, it makes good chili. But yes, I agree, Smits rocked. And I would even go for Alan Alda as a v.v. moderate Republican. If only those West Wing writers could control what happens in my city...

A battery operated 'sex toy' has more intelligence (and in its design btw) than our fearless leader I'm afraid. One can only dream...

sumo, are you saying we should have a dildo for President? Because I'm not sure how that's all that different than what we have now.

It isn't...I thought I was being funny. I guess you got me figured out! Yes...Dildo will do nicely...I just was trying to be nice on your blog...obviously you are not immune to the 'D' word. I'm afraid I've been calling him that for some time now...I know I should be ashamed and all.

You can pretty much use any words around here.
