I really, really love "Pizza Slut". (Been using that one for 20 years.) In fact, I love just about any nickname where you can transpose a few letters or change a single letter and get a decent put-down. "Press The Meat" is one of my favorites. But, hey, I like wordplay and puns. A lot. I like coming up with anagrams, too, and clever alternate meanings for acronyms.

(Oddly, though, I think all this puts me in the minority. My best friend absolutely hates puns, which completely baffles me. Most people, it seems, just don't appreciate them.)

So, bottom line, I completely disagree with you on this one. And, yes, I can feel your opinion of me lowering already. It's a dull, throbbing ache. Painful, but a sensation I will have to live with, as I have no intention of renouncing my love of stupid word tricks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8804629.post-1140199140441531752006-02-17T12:59:00.000-05:002006-02-17T12:59:00.000-05:00I just think too many rely on the name directly an...I just think too many rely on the name directly and are just lazy, but if they are creative, that's certainly better than just abbreviations.John Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01895903722298748059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8804629.post-1140188423220396722006-02-17T10:00:00.000-05:002006-02-17T10:00:00.000-05:00Based on the name isn't that bad if they are cleve...Based on the name isn't that bad if they are clever and not just abreviatons:

The Matrix - Shawn Marion
AK-47 - Andrei Kirilenko
Steve Franchise - Steve FrancisMeitÃnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00556970667315193606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8804629.post-1140182819443908452006-02-17T08:26:00.000-05:002006-02-17T08:26:00.000-05:00The Bus is a good one, somehow that slipped my min...The Bus is a good one, somehow that slipped my mind.
