Australian Leader Defends War on Terror

Just in case anyone saw this article and got confused, I thought I should make it clear that I do not support the War on Terror as it is currently being waged.

  1. As I just mentioned on Shakespeare's Sister ... you mean to tell me you are not one and the same?! I thought I had the ear of the Australian PM all this time!

  2. Yeah, you don't, sorry. I don't even speak Australian.

  3. NO-ONE speaks Australian. It is a state of mind and communication is achieved through grunts, ‘tinnies’, belching and various appreciative noises for a Sheila’s tits.

    I love them really ;)

  4. Who's Sheila?

  5. I was listening to Rush Limbaugh on my way to the store this morning (yeah, I don't know why either), and he said something along the lines of:

"This John Howard guy, he's a great leader and a real friend of America."

and then went on to praise his support for the war. You should put that on your answering machine or something.

  6. I never listen to Rush, but I did for a few minutes at lunch today, but I guess I missed that. Yeah, I'll have to see if I can find audio of that somewhere.

  7. Oh, so that's why it says Sheila's on the women's restroom at Outback.

  8. I too was confused when I saw George Bush was meeting with John Howard. Wow! I thought. George Bush is listening to bloggers??? Maybe he's asking JRH about his recommendation for the Supreme Court.

  9. I recommend that the Supreme Court be abolished and replaced with a Jedi Council. Or a knights of the round table, if there is a shortage of light sabers.

    You'd be right there, Bruce.

Anyway, enough of that .. I am sure that you will all be relieved to know that the BBC is reporting that "chemist not bomb suspect" .. we can all breathe easy.

  11. Well, I know I'm breathing a little easier! Now it's back to making bombs, er, analyzing data for me, knowing the feds won't be checking in.

  12. Who's Bruce?

I don't trust them to know whether or not the Chemist is the bomber, he's too smart for them. I think he may be an evil genius.
