StupidFilter

If they can seriously get this thing working, it will eliminate most of the complaints I have with using the internets. It will be a great day when I get get online without seeing any 1337 speak or LOL or emoticons.

I have some business documents I can contribute to the cause of eradicating stupidity.

We could apply this to MySpace and eliminate 75% of it.

Or Youtube.

Oh, come on, YouTube rocks.

How else would I know that my loony bun is fine, Benny Lava?

There's nothing wrong with YouTube, as long as you don't try to read the comments.

I would have to agree with you on the You Tube comments. Those people have got to be some of the stupidest people in the world.

OK, there we absolutely agree.

Do yourself a favor and don't read the reader comments on sites like Newsweek and Time. You'd think people reading these kind of magazines would be smarter.

You would be wrong.

I read the London Times online (www.thetimesonline.co.uk) daily and usually read the comments and quite frequently comment myself. I find there are some stupid people there, but most seem to be ok and some are actually intelligent (meaning they agree with me). I would have put an LOL or :) in that last sentence, but since this is John's thread, decided not to.
