Popular Ohio Democrat Drops Out of Race, and Perhaps Politics

That sucks. The democrats finally find a guy who is able to clearly articulate what he believes, and stand behind it. And they manage to fuck it up. Way to go!

He was forced out when Schumer from New York advised campaign sponsorts not to sponsor him, way to go!

"The Democrat party bosses dumped a candidate with mainstream vote-getting potential for one of their most liberal members," said Dan Ronayne, spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. "In doing so, the Democrats have settled on a candidate who is fundamentally out of touch with the mainstream values of Ohioans. Happy Valentine's Day, indeed." http://www.latimes.com/technology/la-na-hackett15feb15,1,932516.story?coll=la-headlines-technology

I could not have said it better myself.

Here, you got Republicans on the ropes with all these scandals, and Democrats shoot themselves in the foot, i just don't get it. This is what keeps pushing me more and more to being a Independent.

Ever go to a movie to find out the descriptions were all hype and no substance.

I dispute the "Reps on the ropes" description by the media. Nothing has stuck to the Reps.

Here we are talking for 3-4 days about a hunting accident. Yet Aelito just sailed through the Senate and the NSA wiretap story lasted a whole day. A day most Americans either did not watch the coverage or simply laughed at the buffoons in Congress.

Now we have the media groving at the feet of Brown because big suprise he is trying to cover his arse. But and here is the point, the public does not care because we see how well the locals are managing reconstruction in Lousiana right now. Curious we do not hear the same out of Alabama or Mississippi.

Just pull back and look at all the posting from JRH on the shooting.

It's like nothing else is going on.

JRH no slam against you per se becasue you are merely reflecting the coverage.

I get what your saying Storm, i was watching Hardball yesterday, and after 40 minutes of Cheney shooting coverage i wanted to shoot myself, but i wanted to see Bill Maher, so i tortured myself, lol

Yeah, you're right, storm about the coverage. The difference is, I only want to make fun of the shooting, I don't think it's some scandal. There are plenty of real actual scandals that we don't need to make one up.

Very true John, thats the whole stupidity of the situation. Over the Weekend, Cheney was named as the man who said Libby could leak the info on the CIA agent, yet, all the media is talking about is a accidental shooting.

Yet again proof of that things that matter get pushed under the rug for things that don't matter.
