Bush's Social Security Sleight of Hand
Well, I guess if the more you talk about something, the more people think it sucks, the right thing to do is definitely just to try to sneak it by. This must be part of that bipartisan cooperation and solutions he was talking about during his State of the Union speech.

I knew that major in magic would pay off for him some day.
Please don't mention Harry Potter. Especially here where he doesn't seem to have anything to do with what we're talking about. It's bad enough I have to hear about him everytime a new book comes out, or a new movie, or a title for a new book is announced, or JK Rowling announces that she's considering writing a couple of pages that day, or whatever.
I don't know the extent of the problems (if there are any) with Social Security, and I think it probably needs to be talked about. However, what we definitely don't want to do is pass a ridiculous plan that would cost WAY more money, and wouldn't fix the problem, even according to the idiot that suggested it.
There is evidence to show that there are problems, not to show that there is a crisis.
More people retiring than working doesn't necessarily have to be a problem. It all depends on who puts in what, and who gets what back.
I'm glad that you haven't endorsed Bush's plan, because it is not a plan at all.
It would be easier to discuss solutions if Bush didn't keep harping on his "plan" that even he says would not fix the problem.
Yeah, partisan politics suck. I'm pretty sick of it.
