Dear Bill Parcells -

I wasn't even aware that you read my blog. Nevertheless, I'm glad that you took my advice.

And I hate to say I told you so, but you might want to notice that you only scored 3 points in the 4th quarter, and only 6 in the second half, and you didn't even need those points. The key to this was obviously the 27 points scored in the first half, including 17 in the first quarter. You may also have noticed that yesterday was your best day rushing the ball so far this season, which seemed to be the goal of your previous strategy that failed pretty miserably. That's because it's easier to run with a big lead, and with the defense worried about getting beat deep. No thanks are necessary, just keep up the good work.

Let's hope he keeps it up. This is the crucial part of the year for Dallas. If we're actually a good playoff-worthy team, we have to win most of the next 5 or 6 games. They're either against division opponents (Giants, Eagles) or teams we should beat (Cards, Seahawks, Lions). If we do hold up our part, that Monday night game at Philly could be huge.

By the way, the officials just screwed me out of a 47-yard TD with Hines Ward. What part of "indisputable" don't they understand?

Yeah, Dallas is in pretty good shape now, if they can keep playing the way they did this week.

The officials sucked in that game, that call, and the one on the muffed punt were awful. No one interfered with the fair catch, all the guy did was catch the ball that dropped into his hands, I don't care what the rule says.

Yeah, that's a stupid rule. They ought to change it. They probably won't since it's one of those things that rarely if ever happen.

Yeah, but even if they don't change it, that was a bad call. What if the ball bounced off his chest and went straight out in front of him? Would everyone have to get out of the way and let him pick it up? It's a stupid rule, but even with the rule, it was a bad call, since there was no interference.
