Swindlers Take $6,000 From Victim

The article calls these people swindlers, but if someone is able to convince someone to willingly give them money (especially in such a large amount) with such a bullshit story, I say they deserve the money more than the "victim." Taking advantage of people's stupidity should not be a crime.

I will think next time before I comment on something by saying, "There's no one alive stupid enough to fall for that."

Is it significant that these dim bulbs were located in a Wal-Mart parking lot?

The sad truth there are many. There are so many it is called a Pigeon Drop. I think Paul Newman might have done a movie with this scam in it.

Amazing isn't it.

Too much of the time, the victims are old people who are confused by our increasingly shark infested world.

"Is it significant that these dim bulbs were located in a Wal-Mart parking lot?" teehee

I love the tips for avoiding being swindled at the end of the article, namely: Never shop alone. "I reallllly need some bread and milk but no one will go with me to keep me from giving my money away!!"
