The New York Times - Social Security

Link via 42. A boring article with a lot of boring economical stuff, but nicely summed up by this quote:

...any growth projection that would permit the stock returns the privatizers need to make their schemes work would put Social Security solidly in the black.

Here's hoping this plan dies the death it deserves, since it doesn't seem to make sense in any way whatsoever.
