Friday Night Name that Movie- New and Improved

New and Improved because this week there is a theme. This may make it easier to get some of them so I made the quotes a little harder, but it definitely makes it easier for me to come up with the movies in the first place, and making things easier for me is my top priority. So, anyway, get them all (and the theme) and you might win a prize.*

1. My mama always told me never put off till tomorrow people you can kill today.
2. We're gonna drink this one to Ozzie. A good man who tried to save my ass by injecting me into yours.
3. They're gonna keep callin' us "cutters." To them, it's just a dirty word. To me, it's just somethin' else I never got a chance to be.
4. You know what we get to do today, Brooks? We get to play baseball.
5. Who was the best pilot I ever saw? Well, uh, you're lookin' at 'im.
6. I think we are on the verge of a major climate shift!
7. I will not rest until I have rid the world of every last one of you.
8. Hello, this is Mr. Foreman. If you give my daughter an alcoholic beverage or a joint, I will hunt you down and neuter you.
9. Well, if I'm going to hell, I'm going there playing the piano.
10. Oh cher, your luck about to change.

* There is no prize.

2- Innerspace
4- The Rookie
6- The Day After Tomorrow
8- In Good Company

Do I get a 2nd (non-existent) prize if I know the theme?

All correct, but you have to get them all and the theme (which should by now be fairly obvious) to win a prize.*

I have the theme, which is Dennis Quaid. Or is it Randy? I alway get the two mixed up!

However, I know it was the Quaid married to Meg Ryan.

3 is Breaking Away

That's the only one I know, except for 4 and 6, which were already guessed. Damn me and my lateness to this contest!

Or, alternatively, damn me and my aversion to most things Dennis Quaid.

1 - Wyatt Earp (for my money, Tombstone was the better of the two) (but of course that wouldn't fit in with the theme at all)

5 - The Right Stuff

9 - Great Balls of Fire (tee hee)

I never realized how prolific Dennis Quaid is/was!

I think the prize should be that the author of the hottest blog on the internets gives the winner's blog a plug on the hottest blog on the internets.

I knew them all but 7 and 10, and I have to say, I'm disappointed that there was no quote from Enemy Mine. :)

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about Enemy Mine. That was a good one.

All the guesses so far are correct, and the theme has been exposed, so the last two shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Also, I'm suspicious of people who come late and claim that they know all the ones that have already been guessed but none that haven't.

Miss Em, If anyone ever gets them all right, I'll be happy to plug their blog, but just between you and me, this hottest blog on the internets thing is a product of my imagination, so I'm not sure how much good it would do you.

As for Enemy Mine, the theme only uses quotes from Dennis Quaid's characters, and I didn't like anything that he said in that movie enough to use it. If I hadn't already decided to use all his quotes, I might have gone with Louis Gossett Jr.'s line about Mickey Mouse. And I like that movie as much as anyone, but let's not pretend that it didn't suck.

Ah, don't sell yourself short, Mr. Author of the Hottest Blog on the Internets...

Well, it's nice to know I have a few people fooled anyway.

7 was Dragonheart and 10 was The Big Easy.
