2 - Color Me Badd - I Wanna Sex You Up (I cannot BELIEVE I knew that)

4 - We go together like rama lama something something kadadadingdong - Grease

5 - Lose Yourself - Eminem

6 - Footloose

7 - Gangsta's Paradise - Coolio

is "from movies" the theme? And if so, what movie featured Color Me Badd?

John Howard said...

All correct, but I need the artist also.

Nice guess on the theme, I don't know if it's right or not, were all those from movies?

Well, she took all the answers I knew. At least I can say Footloose is by Kenny Loggins, also known for such classic movie songs as Danger Zone and I'm Alright. The theme, I'm sure, is people who've never been in Cliff Clavin's kitchen.

10 is Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band.

7 is Accidentally In Love by Counting Crows.
8 is Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio (miss em had it as 7, which really confused me for a second when you said she had it right).

I have no idea on the theme.

Keri got 10, Chris correctly got the artist for Footloose, and Chemist got 7 and 8, sorry about the confusion on Coolio.

Sorry for the confusion as to 7/8 - I was never one for ordered lists - and Chris Howard's theme is great!

4. We go together, etc, etc. - cast from "Grease" (Grease)

5. Lose Yourself - Eminem (8 mile)

6. Footloose - Kenny Loggins (Footloose)

John Howard said...

All correct, however.

Thank you, Miss Em. I suppose Cheers references date me. :)
So the theme was movie songs? It seems like you could find a movie for most any popular song. I think you should do musicals, since I know how you love them.

Cheers references date you? That's pretty depressing.

Yes, the theme was movie songs. I'm not sure what you mean by finding a movie for any popular song. These songs were all on the soundtracks of the given movies.

Fuck musicals.

I realize that they were all on the soundtracks, I'm saying that it seems like you can find a large number of pop songs on the soundtrack of movies, even if they weren't written for the movie.

And such language.

Well, as far as I know, all those were written for the movies. That was the intent of the theme, anyway.

As for the language, my big brother was a bad influence on me growing up, so I take no responsibility for it.
