Sitcoms suck

I noticed recently that I really don't watch any sitcoms anymore. The only comedy that I really enjoy is Curb Your Enthusiasm. Based on this article, it looks liek there just isn't any good stuff out there. And the commercials I'm seeing don't offere much hope. Last night I saw an ad for "Life on a Stick" which just looks terrible. I can't decide if people just don't have any good ideas anymore or if Seinfeld just raised the bar too high for the shows that have followed.

There seem to be plenty of good dramas on, particularly new ones, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Boston Legal, are all new shows that I make a point to watch. Maybe all the good writers are doing drama now, I don't know.
