Bush names conservative U.S. appeals judge for court
Ok, so this guy was nominated yesterday, and I don't know much about him other than if Bush likes him than he is probably a lunatic. But anyway, couldn't the AP get a more recent picture? I think this picture was taken before I was born (well, maybe when I was a little kid, anyway). What the hell do I care what he looked like in the 70's? Nice tie.

I am torn on this guy. I would have no problems with a conservative on the Court as long as that person bases the decisions on law and not ideology. I don't know what this guy will do. Maybe he will surprise us. I just don't want to waste a fight on him and use up capital for the next vacancy which will be even bigger
