This is kind of strange

Over the last week or so, I've seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Butterfly Effect, Paycheck, and The Manchurian Candidate. I just realized they all have something in common in that altering minds is a major part of the plot. I just thought that was kindof interesting. Another thing these movies all have in common is that none of them were as boring as 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Ouch...I didn't like the Spotless Mind movie and I detested Butterfly Effect... to each his/her own I guess.

Yeah, I liked The Butterfly Effect. I thought Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was pretty good too.

I love OnDemand in theory, especially all the good free stuff on there. I've actually been meaning to post about this. But in practice, about half the time, it's such a pain to get anything to start because it loses it's connection with the server, or it's too busy and slow, or it just locks up, or you fast forward through something and it won't let you stop fast forwarding, there are just too many problems with it that piss me off, so I don't use nearly it as much I would if it worked well all the time. I don't know if it works better in other areas, though. Here it's got a lot of issues. The DVR is the really, really great, though.

LOL! I was afraid to put that I thought Ashton Kutcher sucked serious ass...way to go Francesca! Probably more than anything I don't care for AK so that may color my feelings more than anyting...I was bored by it. I found Kate and Jim very good as actors...but the story line was way disturbing to me. Of course the bottom line should be if one was entertained...I was. And OnDemand works the exact same way here in California. We never know from one time to the next what it will do...my husband gets so frustrated with it. I didn't like 2001 Space Odyssey either, but 'Paris Texas' is really bad too...just about the top of my list!
